Build Your Own Image With Etiquette And Protocol Training

It has become a challenging deal for an employer to manage a heterogeneous cluster of employees which contains Gen X, Gen Y and also a bunch of Baby Boomers. It becomes an indispensable task for the management to build a productive team with the right kind attitude and focus. The more effective and flexible is the management, the more efficiently employees carry out their assignments. But people need a channelized approach that will help them to embrace the techniques which are useful for them, which gives them a successful direction.

Image consulting is a blend of trendy measures through which the personality traits of an individual can be enhanced.  Are you looking to develop yourself and get a complete makeover? Embrace image consulting, which provides the magical touch to your persona. If you are looking to attend a corporate conference where the next big deal of your company needs to be sealed, a few image consulting techniques can help you break the ice and bag the deal. Etiquette and protocol training can help you to be the outright winner and get the results which you desire.

As a professionally certified image consultant we provide you with the right inputs on etiquette and protocol training. For example when you meet a client, the right handshake tells a lot about you. If you shake hands in a confident way and your personality reflects exuberance, you definitely create an indelible impression in the client’s mind. The way you present your visiting card can also play a vital factor in creating the right impression. These little gestures cannot be ignored and labels the personality traits which you possess. Your personality is judged in the first impression itself.

Dining Etiquette forms an integral part of the professional protocol. How would it look if you are caught chomping and gobbling your platter before your business associates? It certainly does not present a positive impression. Just as you polish your personality, you have to refine your dining etiquettes as well. Take small bites of your food and be very particular while using your spoons and fork. It should not seem that you are eagerly waiting for the food, rather it should seem that you are more interested in rapport building and business talks.

You can never afford to relax and have a laid back attitude. Just hone these etiquette and protocol trainings to excel as a role model in this competitive professional world.

FASHION MISTAKES THAT MAKE YOU LOOK OLDER

As age creeps in and gravity takes its toll, the fashions which we embraced may not be as relaxed or as tolerant as they once were. As our bodies endure to change, few of us linger to squeeze into the very same clothes, whereas others start to accept the truth that those faux pas fashions which we swore we would not once wear, really aren’t just stereotype of aging we believed they were in our 20’s. Luckily there are some stress-free ways to look younger without going overboard says Image Consultant Manisha Srivastava.
Dress Your Size – Clothes that are too large will make you look shabby, while clothes that are too small will make the extra pounds you may be trying to hide, show. Buy items which fit the major part of your body then have them changed to fit the smaller areas.
Dress age aptly – While the stomach and legs may still look wow, but flaunting them in mini-skirts and open midriffs will lure attention to your age. Though chic dressing is one sure way to look younger, dressing like a teenager will have the contradictory effect.  Draw attention to your best features with elegance instead of flaunt.
Synchronise Your Footwear – Open- toed shoes and sandals are worn bare foot or with sandal-foot hosiery, never with socks. As the day passes on, so does the size of the feet.  To find your best fit, style and favourite level of comfort, shop for shoes in the afternoon or the evening.
Avoid all Extremes – Subtle and quirky accessories appear sugary and girlish, while enormously large pieces can overwhelm. Choose accessories in contemporary styles scaled to your figure size. When in doubt about magnitude, safely pick medium.
Too many accoutrements look cluttered. Matchless metals are clumsy and distracting. Accessories look best when synchronised but not matching. Strategically place accessories to draw attention away from perplexing areas by focusing attention to one area such as the face with earrings, a necklace or a pretty scarf.
Out the elastic, in the Lycra – Although elastic and pleats may be completed for comfort they may not be the most gratifying or trendy. If cosy is the key, opt for flat designs in quality fabrics with a trace of Lycra.
It’s all in the heel - A slight lift will flatter the leg and enhance polish to an outfit. A lot of lift will add heaviness and discomfort. No lift can appear frumpy and awkward. When in doubt a 1 – 2 inch heel can give you the look without the annoyance.

Whether we accept it or not, the selections we make will have an impression on how we are seen and eventually how we will feel. Aging doesn’t have to mean old-fashioned or ancient. Balancing cosiness with style will ensure that you appear young and fashionable.

DRESSING UP RIGHT FOR OFFICE

Dressing up each and every day for workplace might seem rather a feat early morning. Upright appearance is a necessary part of building a respectable impression. Clothes form an essential part of one’s personality. Choose your workplace dress with caution and your co-workers will not only take you very seriously but also highly appreciate your dressing sense and get inspired by it!
A few tips for women:
Be well dressed at all possible times. At all times opt for smart formal or semiformal outfits. You can go for Pants with Shirts, formal Skirts, Pant Suits, Cotton Sarees, smart Salwar Suits or modern Churidaar Suits. Style the hair in very smart yet unpretentious hairdos. If you have long hair, opt for a sophisticated bun or just tie them with a rubber band. Avoid tight tops, miniskirts, or flashy outfits.
Do tone down use of makeup, or hair spray, or perfume. You can wear very sleek and fashionable jewellery. But keep it trifling. A chain or a chic pendant should be all worn for the neck. Don’t wear many bangles or jewellery like anklets. Choose between full closed-toe shoes, or pumps and mid heel sandals. Avoid strappy sandals. You could just loosen up slight on Fridays & Saturdays if office rules permit. Go for jeans & top with casual hip jewellery on these days.

A few tips for men:

Investing in a great pair of shoes - “Shoes really make the man,” says design director, David Curcurito. Men’s flair does not go out of fashion that fast. You could buy a good branded shoe which might last you a good 5 years.
Tuck those dress shirts - These days there are too many shirts that are made to be worn untucked but those are so not suited for office purposes.
Buy what fits - “Fit is key,”. It does not have to be luxurious. Invest in a decent tailor. Know all the brands that fit you perfectly.
Seek Advice - When shopping in a departmental store, you should go to the eldest man in the store, particularly if you’re purchasing a suit. Because he’s the one who knows about fittings the best. But it’s not a worldwide rule. Take suggestions and choose the best.

Go modest, be comfortable when dressing up for office. Just keep it artless and don’t overthink it.

Color Analysis for Men & Women in the Corporate world :

Color is the first thing noticed about a person. Its impact is immediate and stays in a persons mind. Color is not for women only. Color is often the only “cosmetic” men utilize on a daily basis. They don’t have the makeup, hair color, jewelry and other accessories we women use all the time. Therefore it is crucial for men to get their colors right when they choose their wardrobe. In today’s fast paced business world, you get a small window of opportunity to make a lasting impression. People feel they need to present a very polished exterior to be considered a quality candidate for available jobs, promotions within their own company, or career opportunities with other companies.
Color can affect your mood, apparent body shape, apparent age, your outlook on life and the overall impression you make on others. Wearing your best colors will make you look younger, healthier, vibrant and lively. If you continue to wear unflattering colors, it will make you look older, sallow, pasty and drained.
A man who decides to undergo the process of having a clothing color analysis done will discover what types of colors make up his "personal color tone." It is a scientific analysis performed by a trained consultant. Everyone is unique and the clothing colors you choose to wear tell the people you interact with something about who you are.
Color analysis makes you understand the following:
1.    Understanding the colors that make you look your best or your “wow colors”
2.    Having the confidence to wear them and knowing how to combine them
3.    Matching your wardrobe to your lifestyle.
4.    Understanding the language of clothes so that your appearance helps you achieve your roles and goals of life.

Boost Your Self Image

The self-image is a kind of mental picture of yourself, both as  physical body and also as an individual. When you are thinking about yourself, the feelings  that come up are important.  Self-image also involves how you feel about your weaknesses, strengths and abilities.
These are self-impressions that have built up over a span of time: What are your dreams? What do you feel and hope? What have you been doing throughout your life and what did you really want to do? These self-images can be very positive, giving individuals confidence in their various  thoughts and actions, or negative, making one doubt their capabilities and ideas.
Surprisingly, self-images can be very different from how the world sees you. Some people who actually outwardly seem to have everything(intelligence,  financial success, looks) may have a very bad self-image. On the contrary, others who have had a really difficult life and intense hardships may have a very positive self-image.
Some believe that one's self-image is defined by various events that affect him or her (doing well in school, at work, or relationships.) Others believe one's self-image can help shape those  very events. There is mostly some truth to both the schools of thought: failing at some event can certainly cause one to feel bad about oneself, just as feeling good about oneself can lead to better performance for a project. But nobody can deny that  self-image has a very strong impact on one's happiness, and the outlook of life can affect those around . If you project a positive self-image, people will be more likely to see you as a positive, capable person.
Sometimes having a negative thought or feeling about oneself can even  encourage changes, hard work, and success. Sometimes having way too positive an image of oneself may encourage  underachievement, and arrogance. Finding the perfect balance  and blend between feeling positive but having realistic goals are important.

Bodies come in all different shapes and sizes.People come in different ways .There is no one "right" body size. There is no such "perfect" people.Your body and self is not, and should not be, exactly like anybody else's. Valuing and respecting your own body and self is a crucial part of a healthy life!
